The Well – Beeing Garden is situated in the grounds surrounding the Kentish Town Health Centre in north London – a NHS building which is used by over 450,000 people per year.

The grant provided by the Alec Dickson Trust enabled a group of volunteers to establish this garden in 2013. The garden is designed to provide an educational and relaxing alternative to a traditional waiting room.

The garden is maintained by volunteers, who also host weekly workshops there to engage the local community. Activity sessions have included making Christmas wreaths and creating plant-based dyes and pigments for textiles.

The Well – Beeing garden is now a vibrant community resource with a fantastic reputation, and the Alec Dickson Trust is proud to have been part of its creation!
